That's what I was expecting Or hoping for Bennett at the back Gambin AMBlackandamber wrote:It could be dangerous playing 2 inexperienced players in the back 3. I would prefer Bennett in the back 3 and bring a creative player into midfield such as Gambin or Evans.
Re: Grandstand: Exiles v Bolton
32I agree this and his liking to wasting our money on final pay days Crofts / Ledley let him down. His January signings will have cost us a lot of money - punching above our weight crowd should reflect on this - the Board have backed him to the hilt and a potential financial black hole, to get promotion- if he fails he should go.SULLY34 wrote:The exclusion of Gambin and Baker is obviously personal. Neither player has let us down. Baker can defend and cross a ball better than Sheppard. Gambin wasn't injured before the Malta games but was overlooked, he's not injured now either. Flynnys personal aggrievences obviously come before the success of NCFC.

37Can't even get out of our own half. This is looking ominous.
Like others have said. Where the hell is Gambin.. Every time is has played for us he has created and got us going.

38Just what is the point of a loanee from another club in the same division that we will be paying wages for..... then not using.Trigger wrote:That's what I was expecting Or hoping for Bennett at the back Gambin AMBlackandamber wrote:It could be dangerous playing 2 inexperienced players in the back 3. 40Santos was awful ! But he seems to get rave reviewsCountymax wrote:Charlie bigging up Santos. I remember he was that bad when we played them at home I thought he'd won a competition to play.

Re: Grandstand: Exiles v Bolton
43Imagine what our forwards could do with service from a player like the Bolton No 2 rather than the dross served up by our wing backs.
Re: Grandstand: Exiles v Bolton
440-0 Ht .Very fortunate to be level at the break, some glaring misses from Bolton. Their speed of movement and accuracy of forward passing superior to our's.
Our best moments have come from corners. Unfortunate don't recall a decent cross from either of our wing-backs.

Re: Grandstand: Exiles v Bolton
45Better half than I expected. LK and Farky looking shaky though and Sheehan to deep again, they should've scored from his mistake. Can't ask alot more of Taylor, lumping the ball up to him. He either wins the ball with nobody around him or gets fouled.
