what's wrong with France , Germany,Spain etc ? I thought they were safe countries the last time I looked.

I am open to genuine cases seeking the chance to settle here but it's the criminal element from countries such as Albania that's the problem.

All these migrants living in Hotels yet we have Pensioners, War heros , kids etc starving , homeless and living in poverty.

Legal migration of skilled or semi skilled workers is ESSENTIAL for the UK at the present time. Illegal migration of unskilled people with no language skills who often end up in the black economy/organised crime is very BAD for the UK, we need to curb the latter while continuing to facilitate the former.

You can take totally the opposite view and that only white people and preferably white people of stout Anglo Saxon Protestant stock should be allowed to walk on the veritable paradise on earth that is Britain. Or any view in between. And it matters not.

The reason the Tories immigration policies fail is exactly the same as the reason Labour's immigration policies will fail. You can't stop people moving from poor countries to have a better life in rich countries.

They didn't want us to leave EUROPE because we were one of the top three contributors whilst many of them just take money out of it.

We are paying the French an absolute fortune after the so called deal we struck with them to stop it. We are also supposed to have our own police on the front line over there to help out.......Just not on the right beaches.

1. Cause uproar by advocating Rwanda as a destination.
2. Once public opinion reaches the point of extreme outrage the Tories tell their Tory donor mates to invest in hotels
3. Instead of Rwanda send refugees to said hotels.

It's all going on in plain sight, but many are blind to it. Plus some people proudly announce that they don't vote for any politician as though it's a morally superior option, when in fact watching this government's obscene policies in action yet choosing to do nothing is actually tantamount to neglect.

I think a lot of people in the country agree with you in principle that you can’t stop poorer people coming here to enrich their lives nor should you if it’s done legally. Same as I’d like the freedom to go to another country to work. The Spanish beach bar dream is alive!!

The problem is the way it’s done. Coming here illegally means they jump the queue over genuine asylum seekers and in effect have helped to break the system.

Controlling the borders of a nation state is important for lots of reasons. Without border control how are we expected to know who’s entering the country and how do we pay for schools/houses/welfare state and NHS etc etc

Also, these people aren’t coming here and having amazing lives. They invariably end up as indentured slaves in the black economy.

If Anne Frank got out of the attic, on to a small boat and over to Dover, Suella and Co would send her back to the Nazis. In 1950 the then British Government was instrumental in creating the European Convention on Human Rights. That's the law that these extreme right wing nutters want to abolish.

Don't think the holocaust couldn't happen again. If it happened once it can happen again. Think Pol Pot. Don't think it couldn't happen in Europe again. Think Kosovo.

There's only one solution. Shut the Country down, stop all imagination. Let's sort our country out first (homeless, poverty, etc). And then, and only then think about allowing people to settle in the United Kingdom.

We should also be emptying our prisons of all people who are from other countries who have committed crimes here. Send them all back, that's what I say. Just think of all that money we would be saving, (That could go towards NHS, Poverty, Homeless,).

Anyone attempting to come to our small island, send them back to that safe Country they call France, because that's were they have come from. They have been living their for quite a while, the French Government have allowed them to live their, so they are responsible for their welfare. They should also be checking their passports. They know who these criminal gangs are. For them to say that they have no idea who they are, is nothing but aload of rubbish. The French are known for taking backhands, why would they want to stop the boats when they are making more money than most of their fellow officers are making in a year.
