I’ve put my bet on.. I think they’re reducing their risk and cutting their losses!
Phil in Northampton

64No complaints. Great effort. Will Evans will go but I think we'll get an extra £200,000 at least after that.
Great atmosphere, great fans, great team. If we had to lose, that's the way to do it. Class all round.

Wrexham will be in for him for £500,000 before Wednesday. They will also sign McLoughlin for £250,000........watch this space

66I think the team did themselves (and Newport) proud. I think tiredness told in the end, particularly after the third went in and the dejection of going behind again.

67Fantastic effort against a very strong United side. Really enjoyed that.

69Most of you will not have heard the Erik ten Hag post match interview.
What a totally first class pr!ck. Seriously if I were a Manchester United fan I'd be thoroughly ashamed of his lack of grace.

70Well he didn't do so well yesterday talking about playing against lower class teams. What's he said now?
Re: Newport County v. Manchester United Grandstand. Sunday 28th January..2024
71Well, not disgraced but why didn’t somebody intimate to Garnacio that he wasn’t welcome in the Port. I would have had the fucker three rows into the crowd long before they scored. We failed to let him know we were present! Far too much respect to the *******!
Disappointed by the atmosphere in the Compeed stand , far too many tickets went to closet Manure supporters. They were as quiet as mice around me the wankers.

74You need to watch it. His attitude beggared belief. Said Newport scored out of nothing and it was a foul. No graciousness whatsoever.excessbee wrote: January 28th, 2024, 7:21 pm Well he didn't do so well yesterday talking about playing against lower class teams. What's he said now?

75Interesting fact match attendance 300 lower than Wrexham. Great effort and right Haag totally classless no credit to Newport at al..
