Re: Deeney Sacked
2Can't see any statement that Deeney is sacked. In fact FGR have said that he has their support.

4Can't imagine too many people would bet against Flynny. Did a job saving us so must look attractive to FGR
Re: Deeney Sacked
5There's no statement on the FGR website but there are posts on the FGR forum claiming that it is true following a 4 match touchline ban. BTW FGR have brought in two new players, one from Man U and one from Bradford. So they are active in the transfer market even if Deeney has gone.Chepstow'sFine wrote: January 18th, 2024, 9:07 pmCheck again.G Guest wrote: January 18th, 2024, 9:05 pm Can't see any statement that Deeney is sacked. 9It’s a win win for Flynny. If he stays up he’s a hero and has a huge budget for next season and if he takes them down he’s the best backed club in the NL and they’ll bounce back the season after.

10If he takes them down he is a hero to the rest of the football world.Chepstow'sFine wrote: January 19th, 2024, 7:55 am It’s a win win for Flynny. 12All these managerial changes at FGR must be costing The Vegan some money in compensation.

13That's the thing about being a multi-millionaire. And whether or not you agree with him he is taking a political, not party political, stance and needs the publicity.Fu Ming wrote: January 19th, 2024, 11:29 am All these managerial changes at FGR must be costing The Vegan some money in compensation.
Think about this. How many chairmen/women of League 2 clubs can you name. Come to think of it I can't even name the chair of Newport County.
