It was 20-0 and Cwmbran only had 7 players at the end,not sure how.

Started with 10 and lost 3 to injury. The striker was struggling up front and would've probably come off if it didn't mean the game would get abandoned.

Watched it yesterday expecting a few goals, they'd lost 6-0 in the week. Didn't expect 20. Cwmbran had a lineup of mostly 16, 17 and 18 year olds. Have to credit them seeing the game through to the end.

I think we were about three years too late, Tranmere maybe four. They may be disappointed. If he does score a few, we may question if he was really bothered last season. Tranmere are obviously in need of a striker and I think some of their fans were thinking Norwood might come back. That's now, obviously not going to happen.

For a side that finished in the playoffs our strikers were hardly feasting on a smorgasbord of goal chances. Maynard suffered, as did the rest of them. He could still do alright given opportunities.
