Kaid Mohamed has been jailed for possession of £11,000 worth of cocaine. The Argus has titled their report ‘Former County Player’, and then go on to say that he played once for us in 2009, yet played over 50 times for Cwmbran , as well as Bristol Rovers, Swindon and AFC Wimbledon, in a 17 year career.
Why have they titled it former County player.?
Stop the mud slinging and support your home town team Argus!!!!!
Re: South Wales Argus
2Strangely, when I read about this case yesterday, when I saw his name, I thought "oh yeah, he used to play for us". But the reality is only marginally true. Strange how the mind plays tricks, or maybe with my mind it isn't so strange after all.
Re: South Wales Argus
5I saw a similar article on the Bristol Post website calling him 'ex- Bristol Rovers', which is also correct.
It's news I suppose. Doubt anyone is going to think any worse about the club because a lad who played for us years ago has been sent down.

Re: South Wales Argus
6My abiding memory of him is a game at Bromley when Holdsworth was manager. They scored early on while we were down to nine men. In a complete failure of common sense, the ref sent him to the bench to remove his non-matching under-shorts while Martyn Giles was already there getting treatment.
Re: South Wales Argus
8He also played for NCAFC as a trialist on a number of occasions at Undy. Not sure why,if he wasn’t good enough to play for us in the Conference some years before, how come Flynny would play him most years at Undy when he was at the veteran stage.

11They might let him out with a tag for a day next July allowing him to play for us.UPTHEPORT wrote:You got a thing about undy let it goPercy plunkett wrote:He also played for NCAFC as a trialist on a number of occasions at Undy. Not sure why,if he wasn’t good enough to play for us in the Conference some years before, how come Flynny would play him most years at Undy when he was at the veteran stage.
