Early opening of the Grandstand today!

Extra cleaning and preparation, I want everything in good order for this one! Always my favourite fixture and a trip to Newport with the family. Unfortunately not this time, first blow was it being a midweek game, which made it unlikely I could attend ( original date). Then the date change, which I note Cobblers fans are very sympathetic and understanding about, means I am in the Isle of Man, and social etiquettes mean I might not even get to listen to it.
A tough game in store, not much between the two teams on early form. The delayed date I think favours us slightly, regarding injuries and loanees.
I predict a goalless first half with us just edging the second half 4-0.
Safe journey to all Cobblers fans travelling down later today… I’ll see you in February!

Started off quite brightly but mostly abysmal. Midfield not in it. Farquharson a liability at the back. Dreadful.
