Could have got a draw in the end but doesn't hide the fact that we are not good enough, Flynn needs to sort out who the first team is and stick with it for a bit. Azaz and Cooper need to start and also would bring in Lewis and Clarke for Norman and Farquharson, both were dreadful tonight. Need to give Telford a run up front with Fisher

For Walsall if fit: (7 changes from today!)

Day, Lewis, Clarke, Demetriou, Haynes, Upson, Azaz, Cooper, Willmott, Fisher, Telford.

Generally agree with that but would use Lewis on the left instead of Haynes who I thought was woeful tonight.

Where was Upson Fisher and Telford tonight?
Joe Day punching at balls that he could easily have been caught, especially that one right at the end of the first half when no one was near him. He did make one excellent save when Benno got injured and his kicking was poor.
Basically that’s why he is back with us and didn’t make it higher up the league.
That said I am not blaming him for tonight’s loss.
2 young guys Livermore and Cain got out played and we were out street wised as a whole team today. Livermore did come into it and improved as the game went one.
Still poor service to our forwards and relying on a 42 year to get us out of trouble.

There must be reasons for this team selection tonight,it looked lopsided and disjointed.Telford scores against Plymouth, comes on and saves us against Orient. He is unused sub at Harrogate and is dropped from the squad tonight.Abraham can’t hold the ball up and is nervous to head it,why is he playing as the target man.Why are all our free kicks going backwards,Dennis to Norman, back to Day,to MD,back to Day,to Dennis, back to Day who, slices it into touch. This happened all night, what are the tactics, what happens at training, what is going on.Let’s hope Greenidge is fit for Saturday,he is the only genuine target man of the eight forwards at the club.CBR was fit enough to look hard sat on the GLC car in the advert, when will he kick a ball for us.Just don’t blame Flynny,it must be someone else’s fault so,why didn’t he acknowledge the Hazel fans at the end.

Awful first half and only marginally better 2nd. For 2nd home game running Flynn got first half team selection and tactics totally wrong and only improved when he was forced into changes.
Upson unavailable due to family illness and Fisher injured but why didn't Cooper and Azaz start and why wasn't Telford even in squad?
If no intention to use Dolan due to injury or match fitness then why put him in matchday squad?
How on earth can't Lewis get into that side?
