Plus the determined austerity project that drove large numbers onto the street and into poverty. It’s no accident that the poor are suffering most at the moment. Planned neglect and callous disregard for human life. England loves the Tories and the monarchy though and seem to love living under the heal of the establishment. That’s why the Celtic nations need to go independent, they never vote Tory but always get a Tory government.
That's a bit of a simplistic viewpoint of England. England currently prefers a Tory government to the Corbyn basket case alternative, but chose a labour government from 1997 - 2010.
Ironically Wales voted against independence last time, whilst also voting to leave the EU, so more patriotic than the cottage burners would have you believe, although having benefitted greatly from EU grants, you have to wonder why......?
If I hadn't lived in England longer than I lived in Newport I'd be looking inwards at the dogmatic loyalty to Welsh Labour party that appears to have delivered very little outside of Cardiff first, before blaming everything on England.
