Now the dust has settled. What stands out since his appointment, is the underwhelming response from the users of this forum, is it because of his lack of managerial experience even though he brings a wealth of knowledge with him, or is the fact that the club have not made public the length of his tenure, which may be they too believe that they are taking a gamble and have given him X number of games to prove his worth, you can only hope that the squad is up to the challenge as well.
Good luck JR it`s a long road ahead.

Hudson came into the club with backing from managers he had worked under. He had numerous coaching badges behind him and was seen as the ' future' Look at how that turned out.. The proof will be how he does.
As good as MF did he also got a lot of 'support' when times were bad under him because he was a 'local lad'
If when we went weeks , if not a few months when we couldn't buy a win would the manager have got as much support if he wasn't a Newport Boy ??? Wasn't it 11 or 12 games we went and didn't win any and the performances were dreadful.....many managers get the sack for a lot less than that....Even MF probably couldn't believe his luck that he didn't get his cards

I very much doubt he's left his job with c***iff city for a contract of 'x' amount of games to prove his worth.

Well why doesn’t Foxhall have the courtesy to inform the rest of the Trust membership?

The obvious place is in his program piece on Saturday. So not long to wait for official confirmation

I think people are waiting to see how Rowberry does. As they would with any new manager. But in his case, his lack of experience and track record adds to the hesitancy. And we've been burnt before by someone who talks a good game but in fact lacks managerial ability. County fans will give him lots of support but it has to be earned. I'm sure he knows that. In the meantime few are going to rock the boat either while he is new and bedding in.

It’s the striking similarities to Anthony Hudson’s credentials that’s probably making a few nervous, my self included. A few more games like that at Bristol and I’m sure we will all be feeling a lot more comfortable.
