Hudson might be qualified NOW, but if Rowberry was a very young holder of the top UEFA licence at 29 I doubt Hudson had it at 26. We could have found US high school coaches who would have done as good a job.

There's 10 years' age difference for starters, Rowberry spent that interval acquiring top qualifications and among other things coached a team promoted to the PL and then in the PL. He worked under several hugely experienced managers, Hudson got a reference from a prize bullshitter.
