Bungee jumping and embroidery - but not at the same time!😀

Coin collecting, darts (I’m useless but enjoy the evening), gym training, reading and trying to get my 6 grandkids interested in what I’m interested in as my 3 kids aren’t!

Good thread idea Jim.

I've never heard of that game. Is it like marrows at the local show?

With apologies to Billy Cotton.

Oh what a beauty,
I've never seen one as big as that before,
Oh what a beauty,
It must be two foot long or even more,
It's such a lovely colour,
And nice and round and fat,
I never knew that grassroots,
Could grow as big as that,
Oh what a beauty,
I've never seen one as big as that before.

Good Evening Jim

Interesting to hear you “mystery shop”
I also did this for some time , but quite a few years ago. It’s an ideal job for “grumpy gits”!
Was very varied and interesting, from a phone call up to full family theme park days out , wristbands, food and drink, the kids loved that one!
Afraid I must take some credit for closing down the towns Gala bingo hall! It was terrible.
I might return to it when I retire in a few years.

What is "mystery shopping"?
Hi Norm

Companies employ other companies to check how how they are doing. It’s like an undercover operation where an unknown person acts as a normal consumer to assess the quality of the operation. Feedback forms are then delivered back to the original company to enable them to improve where necessary. An example in a supermarket “mystery shop” could be, did the assistant make eye contact, or ask if you have a loyalty card. Were certain goods available, how long did you have to wait etc

Hope that helps!

Good Afternoon

Further to my pictures earlier of our miniature Christmas village, I have a video, with seasonal music, to show off the village. I know it’s after Christmas now but I wasn’t sure to put it on here…

Still if anyone is interested!

It’s time now to dismantle the village and pack away in the attic until next year!
