Next year league 2

So we lost fgr exeter and bristol rovers and possibly swindon disaster for us really and our budget willtake a hit with away crowds being smaller from the teams relegated from league 1 Gillingham Doncaster Wimbledon and crewe and Stockport comin up from non league aaargh

Crowd wise we will miss Rovers and Swindon for sure - normally sell outs.Exeter usually bring 600-700, full this season as they were going well. FGR no great loss. Would expect Wrexham to sell out and Stockport and Wimbledon to be fullish. Crewe, Donny and Gills prob 400 odd if on a Saturday.

Next season will be a major test for the club. Not sure what effect the new teams will have on our attendances although losing the gas and Exeter will be hard. That said, absolutely superb that there was an attendance of over 5000 for todays game in what was a ‘dead rubber’. If we carry on with attendances like that, we will be fine.

Home league average this season is 4,318 of which 355 are away fans, so 3,963 home fans on average.

I originally predicted Northampton and Bristol Rovers to join FGR and Exeter plus Wrexham join Stockport from the National League. So, if Northampton and Wrexham achieve promotion, our ''round trips'' for 2022 / 2023 will be:

Carlisle = 570
Hartlepool = 570
Barrow = 541
Harrogate = 488
Bradford = 450
Colchester = 420
Rochdale = 390
Doncaster = 380
Tranmere = 370
Gillingham = 368
Salford = 364
Stockport = 346
Mansfield = 322
Stevenage = 319
Crawley = 313
Leyton Orient = 308
Crewe = 291
Port Vale = 286
Sutton = 283
Wimbledon = 276
Wrexham = 255
Walsall = 204
Swindon = 120

Lost three locals.

Obviously hugely disapointing that January/Feb form dissappeared. JR tried to adapt that Autumn form, but ultimately it didn't work out. Retropestively he tried. Obviously stick with him, because he understands the modern game.

Fair play to the board for the finances and actually (signing on about 9 players; giving us a structure); for next season.

I think JR is a thinking manager given some time.

The Board (all 9 of the *******). Brilliant.

Some may say(me) we should have gone up this year. But, never forget where we came from.
