Seems like a hell of a coup for them. Don’t know much about the club but I assume they’ve got money around because I’m sure he could still command League 2 wages.

I hope he does well at Woking. I hope I'm wrong, but I do not believe we will do that well next season.

Norm will be able to see him, doesn’t he live there?

He has signed a two year deal with them, which is good for both parties. He’s a lovely bloke and I really wish him well, just a shame the way his time with us ended.

Podge was badly treated by MF,it should have been done differently.It’s quite disappointing that Podge has had to drop down a league.Thought that perhaps Grimsby may have given him another go.

We don't know what was done/said - he wasn't scoring - quite sure he's a decent chap and the old cliché 'no one has a bad word' applies to him - not forgetting while with us he go into an Ireland squad (albeit under stone age McCarthy) - best of luck to him and quite sure Woking are paying him a decent wedge

I suspect that he might not have got a two year deal in League Two but National League would welcome someone with his record.

I live several miles away, but have followed Woking... They had a poor season, but are well supported. Lost a couple of Key players. Now have a new manager. Christian Jolley still on the fitness staff I think.. Still a massive signing for them...... Might be worth a punt on them for promotion
