Re: Anymore coming in?
2He was after a number 10 on loan from Premier league. Haven't heard if it's still on the cards.
Re: Anymore coming in?
3Yes that’s what I thought, our so-called very good contacts don’t seem to have come up with the goods.
Re: Anymore coming in?
4Could be the player is doing pre season with his club before signing but we will have to wait and seelowandhard wrote: July 22nd, 2022, 3:15 pm Yes that’s what I thought, our so-called very good contacts don’t seem to have come up with the goods.
Re: Anymore coming in?
5Cain didn't come in to us until August last season, so following the same pathway perhaps.
Re: Anymore coming in?
6Yes,Cain and Cooper joined last day of August on deadline day, probably the same this time,a playmaker it would seem.
Re: Anymore coming in?
8No, it's 1st September at 11pmexcessbee wrote: July 22nd, 2022, 7:35 pm Is the deadline day a week earlier in line with the fixtures?
Re: Anymore coming in?
9The manager has said from day 1 this signing would be at the end of the window.
Re: Anymore coming in?
10We won't be re-signing Timmy Abraham. Interesting move by Flynn https://www.saddlers.co.uk/news/2022/ju ... -saddlers/

Re: Anymore coming in?
12Personally I more concerned about whether Rowberry will be 'wasting' our budget this season and with less on field success than Flynn.County ranger wrote: July 26th, 2022, 7:34 pmGlad to see Flynn wasting someone else’s budget rather than ourslandinho wrote: July 26th, 2022, 5:19 pm We won't be re-signing Timmy Abraham. Re: Anymore coming in?
13I used to take a lot of stick for suggesting that Flynny was wasting money on duff signings, yet now, most accept that was the case, funny old world.
Re: Anymore coming in?
14I haven’t seen any friendlies so cannot really comment but,up front is the worry for me.Drysdale,Wildig and Lewis should be a success,Evans ,I saw a lot for Cardiff MU and,he always had potential and might be a surprise success,Bowen needs to show his credentials, the three forwards, let’s hope at least one of them does the biz.OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote: July 26th, 2022, 9:27 pmPersonally I more concerned about whether Rowberry will be 'wasting' our budget this season and with less on field success than Flynn.County ranger wrote: July 26th, 2022, 7:34 pmGlad to see Flynn wasting someone else’s budget rather than ourslandinho wrote: July 26th, 2022, 5:19 pm We won't be re-signing Timmy Abraham. Re: Anymore coming in?
15Not sure what survey has been undertaken to show that 'most accept that was the case'. I assume it is your opinion rather than a fact.Percy plunkett wrote: July 26th, 2022, 11:04 pm I used to take a lot of stick for suggesting that Flynny was wasting money on duff signings, yet now, most accept that was the case, funny old world.
What I believe will happen is 'most' will decide if Rowberry has wasted money on duff signings during his tenure if he doesn't at least match or better Flynn's success on the field.
