Something must have gone wrong..... from the Walsall forum......

Newport County ticket update
We would like to advise supporters that we have now SOLD OUT of our initial allocation of 607 tickets for Saturday's away fixture against Newport County.

Well, that's 400 short, which is the missing section. Not good if it isn't there for Saturday. Walsall is one that would sell out the usual 1030.

Weird that there's been no communication anywhere about this. One would imagine that the rickety temporary seating, or at least one section of it, has reached the end of its shelf life and needs replacing. That's fine, hardly controversial. So why hasn't the club made any comment about it? Just to explain what's happened and whether / when it'll be replaced by the landlords. I can't think of a single reason why we WOULDN'T include something about that in one of the many updates that have gone out over the summer. Most odd.

Could cost us money 400 seats less for Walsall, Tranmere and Salford all this month and would have thought all would bring more than 600!
Wouldn't expect Salford to have much more than 250, if that. Tranmere would probably request the full allowance. It's a really embarrassing situation.. A rebuild/replacement is a good opportunity to increase the size of that section....... future proofing.

Absolutely!!!! it really does beggar belief.
Well a possible answer to the question is that a safety inspection wasn't carried out until recently. Another explanation is that the intention is to put in a permanent structure. A further explanation is that the rugby don't need to replace it and we can't afford to replace it. Another possible explanation is that someone made an administrative error and there hasn't been time to rectify it. Then again the cost of a replacement might be prohibative. I could go on.

What is inexcusable is that Newport County are meant to be your club, your trust. The reality is just pay your money and don't expect to be told anything. Little people you are, and little people you shall remain.
