Wondering if that's on telly

Played a couple of seasons at Celtic, great club. Only a couple for 1st team though. Best player when I was there was Dave 'Dixie' Rix.

Penybont v Holywell is on S4C. Will probably be cameras at the game for highlights.

Was at the same fixture in the Cup a few years ago. TNS pretty comfortable winners and probably will be again.

I seem to remember watching Dave Rix play for the County's Reserves in the Welsh League many years ago. He was indeed a very good player (inside left IIRC). He told me that the Welsh League was no good for him because every time the County wanted a reserve match for one of the professionals, he could be left out of the team to make way.

Yes George he was that good. Unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago. He was nicknamed Dixie after Dean. Too young late 60s. I also played in the Newport Table Tennis league with him. Talented sportsman & a great friend.
