Going on our first holiday soon since 2020 can't wait
I've booked extra legroom seats both ways and just checked in the flight includes two suitcases and two handlugage bit confused do I have to check those in on line don't want to get caught out at desk
Our hand luggage bags are in the easy jet spec
Re: Easy jet
2You can check in suitcases when checkout opens, this can be 12 hours before the flight in some instances, so that the queue is less just before departure. The handluggage you just take with you, although you can check-in remotely by the easyJet app beforehand, and then just scan your e-ticket and passport when ready to join the departure lounge queue.UPTHEPORT wrote: March 5th, 2023, 9:32 am Going on our first holiday soon since 2020 can't wait

When the flight is boarding you will have priority access.
However, like you, I haven't flown recently, so it may pay to check with the airline.
Re: Easy jet
3Jim, on most airlines these days you can do a check in online about 30 days before your departure date. It is worth doing as you can reserve your seats. They even do the passport checks online. You turn up at the airport with all your details and hand your luggage in at the desk. Still have to queue though. Some airlines even offer you to book your suitcases in the day before. Your hand luggage is walk on.UPTHEPORT wrote: March 5th, 2023, 9:32 am Going on our first holiday soon since 2020 can't wait

We are going to Florida in Apr, we are not flying until midday but we are staying overnight in Gatwick and have the option to book our suitcases in the night before. We will be doing that. I think the airlines do it as a means of stopping people having heavy luggage with them with the security issues that raises. That, and you can spend more time in the shop/bar. Enjoy your hols mate.

Have a great time. After a 4 year absence I’m back to Florida on hols in July. Thankfully flying from Heathrow for the first time though.

7You too Exile. I’ll be looking to increase my measly collection of state quarters (6 so far). I think you mentioned you had a full set but if there are any you want me to keep a lookout for, just let me know.Exile 1976 wrote: March 8th, 2023, 3:46 pmpembsexile wrote: March 6th, 2023, 4:55 pmJim, on most airlines these days you can do a check in online about 30 days before your departure date. Nice one. I haven’t got some of the Territory ones. I’m missing Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, American Samoa and Puerto Rico. If you get any doublers of them, that’d be great.
