I'm a bit non plussed, Grimsby look average at best but are one up.

19Good point. We could have won it but Crawley getting stuffed means it's a very good result.

21Deserved point, thanks to an improved 2nd half display. 12 points clear of the bottom 2.
Defensively still too often panicky when clearing the ball for my liking, although Baker did show a few moments of composure
Clearly lacking confidence and composure in front of goal. Thankfully apart from their one excellent finish so did Grimsby.

24Evening Mike,
I don't think it matters. Rochdale and either Crawley or Hartlepool for me. We'd need to implode now. The way the bottom two are going we might already have enough points.

25No, I'm pleased to see that Harrogate won. It's a great place for an away stopover. Really hope Hartlepool can stay above Crawley, but they have some really difficult fixtures ahead.

26Point closer to safety can't wait for the season to be over .that was hard to watch tonight

271-1….. who would have thought it!
Well predicted by most, and a good bet at 5/1. Farky scoring was my first goal scorer at good odds, so unlucky on that one. Much better second half but it consistently twangs the nerves these days!

29I don't think at this juncture that Rochdale will necessarily finish in the bottom two. They have taken four points from the last two matches. If that carries on they will climb the table rapidly. I agree that Crawley look doomed. But who goes down with them is still an open question.
Re: Exiles Grandstand - Grimsby v Newport County
30Much better second half with the ball on the ground a bit more together with decent performances from Chearsley, Norman, Lewis and a few others.
Looking forward to Saturday.
