Our season has now ended. Nine friendlies left. I would be amazed if we don't have enough points already.Kevinmoorefellover wrote: March 18th, 2023, 5:09 pm A great result considering that, of the teams below us before kickoff, only Gillingham lost.

32Bloody hell Brendan, how long have you been a County fan? I’ll breathe easier when we get to 50 points. We should be Ok but with the County you can never know for certain. Absolutely brilliant win today.Stan A. Einstein wrote: March 18th, 2023, 5:15 pmOur season has now ended. Nine friendlies left. 33Brizzle Rovers went down with 50 points a few years ago. I won’t relax until we get to 51.

34It's not how many points we get, it's how few the others get.Dogger wrote: March 18th, 2023, 5:28 pm Brizzle Rovers went down with 50 points a few years ago. I won’t relax until we get to 51.

Re: Tranmere Rovers match thread
35Obviously a fantastic result today, so that we can breathe more easily.
Thank goodness for our away form. 25 points with a +1 g.d. in contrast with our home form of 18 points with a -6 g.d.

36Will Hartlepool get 13 points from their remaining nine games? If they do, and I don't think they will, we would still need to lose nine games on the bounce.pembsexile wrote: March 18th, 2023, 5:23 pmBloody hell Brendan, how long have you been a County fan? Even I'm relaxed.

Apparently the dirty tricks department were at work. There was a cloudburst at half-time so when it stopped they turned the sprinklers on!

Re: Tranmere Rovers match thread
38Don’t think anyone would have predicted that and,it could have been better,Wildig went too early so had goal chalked off,McNeill should have squared for Bogle and, losing the clean sheet so late.I think we would have all taken that result beforehand though.

My posts during the week inspired the lads. You're quick enough to cite my posts when we lose. Try and have a bit of class.

Re: Tranmere Rovers match thread
40Great to see the loan lads get a goal each, should settle their confidence and kick on now.
Re: Tranmere Rovers match thread
41Our first double of the season, I believe.
Let’s bag a few more before the end.
Well done lads.

42You got your ‘big ask’! I didn’t see that one coming either.flat4 wrote: March 18th, 2023, 2:31 pm We need Walsall to beat Gillingham this afternoon to keep the gap alive, assuming we can take some thing away from Tranmere, a big ask on both counts.

43Hopefully so.Percy plunkett wrote: March 18th, 2023, 6:51 pm Great to see the loan lads get a goal each, should settle their confidence and kick on now.
Didn't see the game, but 3 goals from 4 attempts on target from forward players is certainly a welcome change. And achieved from only 35% possession!
