Saturdays games

Casting aside all things feudal ,Wrexham look a good outfit..one touch football quality. If it hadn't been for Mansfield's goalie I think it would have been a pummelling.
Our match..looking at the BBC stats showed no fouls by us and only two from Oldham. So massive respect to both teams methinks.
Finally,as I follow Woking , I can't see their manager lasting much longer. He's got a strong squad but clearly can't get them to play to their ability
Good afternoon

They did look good. I thought Stags looked good too. 2 teams that I'd be surprised if they were still in L2 next season. The conditions and state of the pitch reminded me of the time we played Cambridge away and they were sweeping water off the pitch. Pretty sure Mullin scored in that game.

Both Wrexham and Mansfield overall pass accuracy and deftness of first touch was frankly on a far higher level than anything County can produce. Stats bare it out by saying in League 2 we play with an average of less than 40% possession and are the 22nd worse team for pass accuracy. Of course that doesn't automatically mean we can't win games as demonstrated at Gillingham recently, as it's goals that decide matches, but such stats it will mean we face an uphill battle in almost every game.

I very rarely understand where or how BBC compile these numbers.

I commented that the Ref. actually gave at least 3 fouls on Bogle, which rarely happens.

Well observed. And what an improvement we see in Bogle's performance, fouls against him are awarded.

In my view we've always misused Bogle. We need a Jamma style front man up top as a partner so that Bogle's not the focal point. It's not his game and therefore he gets absolutely nailed by defenders continuously every single game with his back to goal and is expected to perform miracles.

Yes agree with that. Would love to see us have a very physical big 'shit-house' old fashioned centre forward to compete for all those inevitable hopeful 'hoofballs'. Believe there's still an effective place for it, especially in League 2 football.
