Good point but wouldn't be beyond the wit of man to do a 'pie & pint' deal with access to lounge in lieu of 'proper' hospitality - no need for anything fancy and no need to open the bar properly (choice of lager/ale/wine and meat or vegan pie) ticket included for say £25 - club probably clears £5 per person.

Sounds a sensible idea to me.

Certainly worth looking into the feasibility of that idea.

Hasn't it been tried before? Pubs are not doing very well at the moment. The problem with a club owned pub is the custom is only guaranteed on alternate Saturdays and occasional Tuesday evenings.

The 'padded seat' guys did a good review of our hospitality about a year ago and were very positive about it - I do it around twice a season and its actually pretty decent - incomparable to the top notch premier league clubs and not quite up to the Dragons mark but for a league 2 club run on a shoestring and with limitations of only having 1 suite its not too bad.

Agree, I was just thinking about norm's idea of the 'new' Trust taking on the RP catering/ hospitality for both codes.

The classic was it looked like there were some railway guys having some training in the Bisley suite! Rodney Parade definitely having their cake and eating it...
