Yes he is 36 , probably being paid pocket money, playing more for love than wages but IMO we could do worse than see if he is interested in at least a short term deal....
I am not sure if he would be interested but maybe a coaching role as well as a playing role...coaching the young strikers we have (Rai, Wood and Evans) . Surely after years of playing football league he would know a few things to pass on to them
If we cant match what Newport City are offering him we may as well pack up now

He has been at Gloucester and Yate without doing much,only 3 appearances for Yate so that tells me that he has had his day.His fitness level will take a while to build up to play EFL so,best forget it I would say.
