Stowmarket must have some backing, notice they also have Reggie Lambe who was playing league football 2020 and similar age - early 30’s - Upson played c40 L2 games last season would have thought he would have had L2 / NL options but looks like a bit of money near home good luck to him.

Looked a bit too sluggish in his spell with us. Some excellent touches at times but tended to undo his good work by conceding the ball in dangerous places. Stevenage fans didn't seem to think he was up to the task either.

I gather on the grapevine that Anthony Hartigan may be leaving AFC Wimbledon soon. After doing well on his loan spell here (after an indifferent start), he got into their first team but it was during an unhappy relegation season. Since then, he has - allegedly - displayed something of an attitude problem and both parties may seek a fresh start. Can't see him returning here, and not sure I'd want him if the rumours were true, but he did show enough ability to play at this level.

Defender Gary Warren has today, 1st July, joined Scottish Highland League club Clachnacuddin FC who are based in Inverness.
After leaving County in 2012, Inverness Caledonian Thistle were Warren's next club where he had the next six seasons of his career.
On leaving Inverness CT in 2018, he moved back to the southwest playing for clubs in Devon and Somerset, the latest being Tiverton Town, before moving back up north over the border.

And there's an old saying your a long time retired

Some players just like playing football. Trundle still kicking about at Ammanford in his mid-40s is one example (although the pay packet he allegedly picks up probably helps). Think it's great to see former league players dropping down the levels later in their career.
