On a more sorry note, after yesterday's elections, what a very, very sad state of affairs for the Labour party in England when they couldn't perform better against a party whose leader has the TV persona of a bumbling buffoon, and despite this country having a much renowned and respected NHS service, have overseen one of the world's worst coronavirus fatality rates.

Stark contrast in Wales however, as ironically the conservative (with a small c ) Drakeford and Labour have performed better than many were predicting.

I don’t think Mr Drakeford is averse to change. His NHS policies provide evidence for that.

I think the Labour people in Wales are more ‘left’ than their English cousins and therefore more likely to vote for him. He is on the very left of the party and supported Jeremy Corbin’ leadership bid a while back. This didn’t seem to matter for some Wales Labour voters. It did in the ‘Shires’. They rejected him.

Agree with you about the 'abolish lot'; and whatever your political persuasion it has become clear for now, that Labour are the electorates preferred choice of governance for Wales; the SNP for Scotland; and the Conservatives for England alone.
Will the UK Prime Minister take that into account when making decisions?

Hardly anything has been done and as we recover from Covid that will become more evident. If you think the Tories are telling the truth what are Labour offering that the Tories aren't?

Boris Johnson went to Eton so he can do what he wants. Wales loses 20% of its MPs at the next general election.
