If you review the last three / four Balance Sheets you will be able to track the asset / liability movement which will answer your question - you can only spend money once and our recent bloated squads of too many under performing / not good enough players will have absorbed significant sums of cash.

If you scrolled the balance sheets back. Say 4 or 5 years how would that look like?

Why are there so many directors? Who voted for them? Are they getting a salary? Are they getting contracts? Who is making these decisions, yes where is the money going, that Flynny won?
