2 all. Need to set team up properly from beginning. We keep having to change formation after starting wrong.

That was a good a point as we are ever going to get. Not a good performance but they were top. We dug that out. 5 away, 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. Take that.

Harrogate are a very good pressing side - happy with a point.

If I recall correctly from the same 6 fixtures last season we came away with 2 points?

According to radio commentary we were getting overrun in midfield. Presumably Dolan hasn't got the legs to play midfield anymore so Azaz was used to tighten up the midfield.

Surely his captaincy shouldn't be a factor if his substitution is seen to be for the betterment of the team, whether it be tactical or for injury.

The captain should be expected to play most of the time and lead the team on the field,only occasionally would a captain be replaced tactically,say once in a blue moon.

Difficult to compare as teams change so much - we thought we had lost tough visits to Mansfield and Salford - current league position suggests we missed an opportunity against strugglers.

Personally view making 'us a competitive L2 side for a number of seasons' as a sign of managerial progression. Also view substituting the captain if his form/fitness, or tactical reasons warrants it for the benefit of the team, as a sign of managerial maturity. Of course others will undoubtedly see it differently.

If you are happy with mid table L2 with some flirtation with play offs but never quite making that is fine and in many ways (I know from 50 plus years) a good attitude to have as a County supporter so keep the Flynn faith.
