Re: Man of the Match Northampton home
3For his first league start Nye Livermore.I thought he had a fine game
Re: Man of the Match Northampton home
4I'm inclined to blame the *cough* system rather than the players for tonight's bitterly disappointing performance.
For a few minutes after coming on I thought Azaz was going to buck the trend but he soon merged in with everyone else.
Can't believe this. Twice in a week I've gone for Mister Robbie Willmott.

5Robbie looks rejuvenated after his loan spell.
Azaz and Cooper changed the pace of the game after coming on. If Upson is out, I'd like to see that midfield start Saturday.

Re: Man of the Match Northampton home
6I agree Azaz and Cooper changed matters as did Ellison, if only because, at last the ball was sent Into their box. But why was Wllmott, switched to the left wing (and centre for some of the game). We know Robbie plays better in the right. And Haynes only started making his left wing attacks at the end of the game.
Can we please go back to playing both wingers to get behind the defence, rather than passing the ball backwards again and again.

7Having willmott on the left stopped Haynes making those forward runs.
Re: Man of the Match Northampton home
9Robbie Willmott. By far the busiest player on the pitch. Played towards the Northampton goal, which was a rarity last night.
Re: Man of the Match Northampton home
11Gone for robbie! tried his heart out all night, livermoor played well for his first professional start but was let down badley by his team mates.
Re: Man of the Match Northampton home
12Not a fan of his but absolute respect to Willmott he has come back this season with a point to prove and is doing it big time. Well done Robbie MoM by a mile - I thought Livermore was dreadful good when he came on as sub and deserved praise but equally last night out of his depth could not find a pass and was lucky not to get sent off.
