Let us get one thing straight, shall we right now. I'm not Competition man.

They can't afford to pay their mortgage, but they can afford to sponsor the club? They have problems in running their business but can afford to sponsor a football club? Do we need a company sponsoring the club that can't pay their bills?

How am I making myselff look silly?

Is this another new director?

We don't need your money, son.
A rather angry reply from you I feel.
No I am not a new director.
What is the matter with anyone’s money as long as it comes from legitimate sources?
And finally please don’t tell me that the club and you don’t want my money. (I am a season ticket holder and a trust member).

You do not know that they haven’t paid their mortgage or cant pay their bills. Bizarrely you have noticed on companies House that they have legal charges on the company and have taken that to mean they have defaulted on stuff.

In trying to be a a smart ass your lack of basic knowledge has been exposed because you do not realise that more than half of companies in the country have legal charges registered against them including some of the biggest and most well known firms.

You should look at what Sonovate (the charge holder) do. I'm not 100% certain from my limited scan of the charge doc, but I suspect the charge relates to invoice factoring (something Sonovate specialises in), thus improving the particular company's cashflow. I'm guessing it's outstanding because it's an ongoing facility that Candour wish to utilise.

A legal charge allows a lender to protect the money they have lent to an individual or company. It is a legal document signed by the borrower which is registered against the property at the Land Registry to alert any potential buyer of the existence of the debt

So they are normally "standard" business debts, mortgage, cash flow, etc. Land Registry publish them rather than Company House.
