Re: Development Game
3I’m glad you know the game was on.
Why doesn’t the club advertise these games and where are the home games played?
Perhaps some fans would like to go along.
Possibly charge £5, after all it’s potential revenue.

Re: Development Game
7Thought there as something going on there when we rode past - couple of coaches etc .Exile 1976 wrote:It was played at Spytty and I saw it on County’s Twitter page.
Do you know if the team play in a specific development league and if so do you know what teams are in it ??
Re: Development Game
8That’s five goals for Greenidge now, someone said he scored all three against Yeovil.Twamley another one with potential. It would be nice if the website gives us some info, who played etc.
Re: Development Game
94-1 final score.
Greenidge 2, Twamley 1 and Williams 1
2 Assists for Twamley as well.
Good game- good result

Re: Development Game
10So it is a reserve team without a league table. What I would like to see is a league table cup competition as well. Able to watch games for £3.00 maybe at Newport Stadium.
Re: Development Game
11It probably wouldn’t be financially viable. As soon as you’ve got a crowd ( which wouldn’t be huge so no big income ) you’ve got the responsibility of stewarding, turnstile staff etc.then food & drink and other facilities to staff. Would it be worth it? How many would go?, we don’t get many at RP for the Mickey Mouse cup so how many would attend these games during week day daytimes???yourfinalanswer wrote:So it is a reserve team without a league table. Re: Development Game
12Have to agree with the website reporting on these games, only heard about the Yeovil game by word of mouth. Afterall surely club supporters would be interested in how any team who bares the name Newport County are doing.Percy plunkett wrote:That’s five goals for Greenidge now, someone said he scored all three against Yeovil.Twamley another one with potential. It would be nice if the website gives us some info, who played etc.
