Re: GRANDSTAND EXETER V NEWPORT
62Well hats off to Hats..... the lads have ticked over nicely under him... We have a nucleus to build on and whoever takes over has a confident squad...
I really think we'll be there or thereabouts at seasons end

Re: GRANDSTAND EXETER V NEWPORT
63We started off like a train, and without doubt we can play football, but our own weaknesses on occasion left us blessing our luck TBH! Great goals, but central midfield is our achilles heel,as we seem to sit too deep, whilst defensively, we blow hot and cold, and strikeforce wise today suffered from anydecent linkplay! Good Point yes indeed but possibly, two that got away IMHO of course.......

Re: GRANDSTAND EXETER V NEWPORT
65On reflection, it was a good point for us. Although there was a spell in the first half when Exeter were chasing shadows, they pegged us back in the last twenty minutes. I wasn't convinced by our substitions. Disappointed as I have been with Abraham's, I think he might have been useful late in the game as there was room to use his pace as Exeter pushed up the pitch.

67A different angle on the goals for which I initially thought that Day was at fault, not so sure now
