Not the only ones... Teams signed a player when they got to Premier League on very good wages.. Failed., get relegated and can't off load the player.. Hence the high wages...

Why do you think Portsmouth, Sunderland, Barnsley etc almost went out of business... Signing players on stupid contracts... 3/4 years then only lasting 1 year in Premier League.. Still had to pay Premier League wages to the players whilst the clubs were on Championship /League 1 incomes
