Re: Man of the Match Hartlepool away
2Difficult choice after a good team performance.
Going for Azaz. Obviously technically gifted and at times his apparent languid style can mask the hard work he put in over 90 mins last night.
Honourable mention to Upson also, who showed composure on the ball throughout. All the more praiseworthy having looked totally drained towards the end of the game v Swindon.

3Agreed, difficulty choice this one. Azaz and Upson pushed him close, I know he was subbed but for his superb performance in the first half it was Cooper for me.
Re: Man of the Match Hartlepool away
4Had to be a defender for me because of the amount of pressure we absorbed while still protecting Day who didn't have many shots to deal with. Close between Dolan and Demetriou but I went for Micky.

5Azaz for me. Some great passing movements between him, Cooper and the forwards and worked tirelessly all night. Cooper had a great first half but faded later on. One of Upson's best matches too. Special mention for Kev who seemed to really wind up and unsettle their defenders in the time he was on.

6All the players put in a great performance last night. I've ignored the more obvious choices and gone for Norman, simply for getting on to that very deep cross from Haynes and directing his header to Telford. For a wing back to get into that position in the 93rd minute of a match was exceptional, and to beat the 'Pool defenders to the ball.
