Annoying that it's not on BBC Radio Wales (except for those in the Newport area). With no other Welsh league clubs in action tonight, I thought we might've been given the opportunity to read a bigger audience. Will have to follow on here instead!
Still, that's a strong lineup - more than I'd expected given JR's comments about needing to rest players. A good chance for young fringe players like Ellison to get a chance to prove themselves in men's football...

17Lewis was unlucky to lose his place recently so ok.Surprised to see CBR on bench and the old fella starting. No problem with JR resting players,CBR can be an impact sub tonight ,fancy one of his left wing goals tonight.

18Yes.excessbee wrote: November 23rd, 2021, 4:14 pm Didn't we play them in non-league a couple of times? May have been in Conference South.
I believe one season we played them on consecutive weeks, league away and then cup at home.

20I'm up for it, will try to post some relevant match commentary if needed.
Looking forward to commenting on Telford hat trick, not looking forward to Day with the ball at his feet.

22Good Evening!
Hoping for a good victory tonight. A bit of research throws up a strange statistic.. Crawley last lost 4-0 at home 43 games ago and also 43 games before that! So I’ve got a small wager on 4-0 to County!

23Yep surprised me as well, i guess he is only making changes because he has to, not like MF did, just for the sake of it.Fu Ming wrote: November 23rd, 2021, 7:09 pm Only 2 changes.

A win tonight would be great, but a draw would be acceptable (assuming we play well)
Re: GRANDSTAND: Crawley Town (Away) Match Day thread
24Thought Townsend would have got the nod tonight give Joe a kick up the arse

Re: GRANDSTAND: Crawley Town (Away) Match Day thread
29Yes lots of possession. Crawley not pressing high, therefore too much sideways passing at the back from us. When we have managed to get forward our final ball/ crosses have been poor, hence no clear cut chances created.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Crawley Town (Away) Match Day thread
30Apart from one Ellison shot very little to report. Plenty of sideways back passing but creating very little. Final ball has been woeful. Norman booked early on.
