New manager to be Rob Edwards from FGR.
Says obstacles overcome and terms agreed ?
Re: Watford
6There is a scene in the film Cleopatra where a serving maid tries to assassinate the Queen of Egypt by giving her poisoned wine. Being suspicious Cleopatra tells the maid to drink the wine. Not unnaturally the maid then begs Cleopatra to forgive her.
Cleo smiles the says, "Of course I forgive you, now drink the f@cking wine".
All right Liz Taylor didn't swear, I added that for effect, but you get my drift.

Re: Watford
7Hilarious. This has made my day. I guess they'll go and poach someone else's Manager I suppose and the circle of life is complete.
Re: Watford
8The routine at Watford seems to be their managers have a shelf life of nine months (max) and they get fired with a tidy pay off. Edwards will be fine, he can then come back to League Two and start where he left off.
Re: Watford
11Any manager would think again before going to Watford with their track record. He must have been well paid at FGR so why would he take a risk going there.

He’d have been daft not to have gone! Watford are a ridiculously big club compared to FGR and no doubt he’ll be on much better wages in a higher league too.
Not much risk on his part, if he’s sacked he gets paid up and will no doubt walk into another lower league manager position .
