Williams joined Swindon Town on 13 August 2021 on a free transfer signing a one-year contract

but the link to the Swindon site doesn't make mention of contract length.

I saw that on Wikipedia, but this is the link to the swindon retained list on the swindon town website, which states he is contracted for next season.

As an aside, the swindon Town manager left yesterday to join Charlton

Swindon forum makes no mention of him leaving, only that he is injured after bombing down the wing in a game and tripping over his own manager’s foot who was stood too close to the pitch

I don't see him and Willmott in the same side. Swindon played last season under an embargo which limited last summer's signings to one-year contracts.
