There was a lovely tribute on Jason Mohammad’s show this morning on Radio Wales from Newport’s Peter Nicholas, who some on here would know.
Peter N became a big pal of Benny when he was manager of Llanelli Town FC.

A sad loss. The fact that the likes of Bennett would have no place in the modern day game indicates what a poor spectacle the sport has become.

Absolutely. The days of the magical 10 stone soaking wet players who got you out of your seat with their instinctive skills have long gone.
