21I have been banging on about this fixture for years.At last,we play the fixture for our benefit,not just to sell beer for Undy with 18 unknown trialists who we will never see again.Everyone getting a run out except Dennis ,he must be still injured.

23The other thing about using triallists only sparingly is anyone we do give a game to on that basis will know our interest is serious.

I agree
MF used 10 trialists in their first game yesterday ..3x 30 minute segments . First team to start , trialists in the middle third and youth players to end the game.Talk about scatter gun approach hoping to find one gem....
One or two players seems ok to me if your interested in them to see how they perform in your side / system but to have a side full of players who have never played together before seems madness...
