If you travel on rail to County games Trainpal is offering a great deal 19 pounds for a rail card it's an app Trainpal but that's great value if you can get a rail card due to my age I can't get a single rail card 🤔 I know it's bonkers

I've had a Senior Railcard for some time, so this wouldn't benefit me. I recoup the cost of my card in three (longish) trips with a 1/3 reduction.

Of current concern is another strike on the rail system that coincides with my planned trip to Sutton United.

The "cheapest" way I know to buy a railcard is to use Tesco Clubcard vouchers. The value of vouchers are trebled up for the purchase so a one year railcard costs £10 of vouchers. You cannot buy a 3 years travelcard this was though, just the single year.

Going to be a tough one this year with the likelihood of more strikes

For railcards as mentioned use Clubcard, or sometimes Trainline do a 1/3 off deal too, code currently is HELLORAILCARD33

Someone mentioned National Express - they are very expensive lately. Megabus and Flixbus are far cheaper.
