For me it’s Townsend. Hopefully he’s been working on covering his near post.
Re: Townsend or Day
2They are as good as each other, but also as bad as each other, for me it`s time we looked for another GK coach with fresh ideas, who will bring the best out in them both as they both have seemed to stagnate for the last few years.
But Day edges it for me.

Re: Townsend or Day
3I disagree. I don't think that they are as good as each other. I think that Townsend is distinctly the better player.
Re: Townsend or Day
4If we could stick nick's brain in joes head we would have the perfect keeper!! but as it stands it's nick for me.

Every now and again I read a post and think I wish I'd said that. This is one such post.
Thank you.
Re: Townsend or Day
8Not much in it. Day is the better shot stopper and Townsend better off his line and distribution. Day shades it for me.

Re: Townsend or Day
11I still dont get why we signed Joe back on a 3 year deal it's a crazy decision , he will be one of the highest earners and wont have a sell on profit. Must have been one hell of a barbecue the night the deal was done .we had nick just needed a tidy backup word is Joe been told he's the number one this season .so expect him to start
Re: Townsend or Day
12IMO when Townsend went injured with a hammy JR brought Day in fair enough no choice but he kept with Day we had a terrible run in I don't think Day has the same relationship with the back 4
So for me it's Nick
So for me it's Nick
Re: Townsend or Day
14Day for me, Townsend is too easily beaten at his near post.
What are Antigua's international commitments this season?

Re: Townsend or Day
15It has to be Townsend as Day is always rooted to his line, and his indecisiveness creates uncertainty for the defenders. I think the near post vulnerability is a common weakness of both keepers.
