Sam Northeast needs just 2 runs today to make the highest score ever for Glamorgan. He has batted for more than 8 hours. The current record of 309 runs is held by Steve James, which he scored against Sussex in 2000 at Colwyn Bay.
Play resumes at Grace Road, Leicester this morning at 11.

Incredible innings. His batting partner is on 190 not out. He is approaching 400. At one stage they were 9 for 2. Amazing.

I'd be tempted to bat another 2 overs get 800 up and get Cooke 200 and really grind them down

Me too. There's no way Glamorgan can bowl Leicestershire out on that wicket. Absolutely no help to the bowlers at all.
