Dilemma (Wrexham)

1
Now apart from having my Sunday afternoon ruined by having to avoid Wrexham again knowing my license fee is contributing towards their already inflated coffers, do we want Wrexham to win to distract them from their seemingly inevitable automatic promotion push OR to lose so we can enjoy our Sunday evening and Monday and not have to put up with the Wrexham love in for at least another few months? (On UK media at least, BBC Wales & S4C will still be running them a bath, lighting the candles & scattering the roses on the bed)…

Not really sure where the issue is, it’s obvious the media are gonna get massively behind them, let’s be honest it’s a truly remarkable story …with regards all the so called Wrexham TV bias, there are three league clubs down South (of which we are the lowest ranked), and they are the only real deal up North ?? ….. Anyway I’m not bitter against them, weve had our moment in the sun with Lottery Les and all the FA Cup coverage. Good luck to em but to answer your question, I’m not that bothered either way.

Sold their soul for a Yankee dollar, Hope we hold out as long as possible before doing similar, preferably for ever, although the way the game is going it may become inevitable. But they are playing that lot from the wrong side of town. Probably best to avoid it. There seems to be so much football these days where the best result would be both teams losing.

My head says that Wrexham are a club which is 126 miles away from Rodney Parade and playing in a different league, so today's match should really have no bearing on us. However, in my heart it really bothers me that a Welsh non- league club have always had a bigger geographical radio coverage on BBC than us. All their games are broadcast in the whole of North Wales and of course online. The County's coverage is limited to a small part of South East Wales, and of course since Hollywood has come knocking it seems the whole world want Wrexham to do well. We never had such coverage even when we had Les's money and great runs in the cup.

Hoping Wrexham get hammered!

And we sold our soul for the Les dollar so stop being so hypocritical- your bitterness is quite sad - we all wish we had the Wrexham owners 10 year plan rather than Les who had a budget and walked away when he had spent it - don’t forget Wrexham would be EFL already if they had not faced the Les dollar.

We hardly sold our soul for the Les dollar. He took over from Chris Blight because he had more money. Nearly all of the players who gained promotion were free transfers or on loan. Scalding paid off the monthly overdraft.

The situation with the Hollywood stars is vastly different.
