Mine was freezing until I reset the website. It's working fine now, unlike the County.Stan A. Einstein wrote: March 14th, 2023, 8:34 pm Picture keeps freezing. Thank God for small mercies.

17As always inability to score in the first half.
If only we had a striker!

Re: Exiles Grandstand: Newport v Wimbledon
19Floated cross into the 6 yard box and Day just watches it. Just not good enough.
Re: Exiles Grandstand: Newport v Wimbledon
20I'd say to call it total crap is, if anything, seeing it through amber glasses. Slightly better 2nd half but still really dire.
Re: Exiles Grandstand: Newport v Wimbledon
22Can anybody tell me what McNeill has contributed in a county shirt , had a lot of opportunities but never shown anything . Looks like the deal was he had to have agreed game time but Kavanagh looks twice the threat
Re: Exiles Grandstand: Newport v Wimbledon
24Total rubbish for 60 minutes then transformed and unlucky not to win. That said we lack bite up front.

25The guy a couple of seats across from me fell asleep at the start of the second half. I envied him.
Got much livelier when Kavanagh etc came on

26After that first half, I'd have envied the guy a couple of seats across from you had he dropped dead.Free beer wrote: March 14th, 2023, 9:57 pm The guy a couple of seats across from me fell asleep at the start of the second half. I envied him.

Re: Exiles Grandstand: Newport v Wimbledon
27Yet another dreadfully anxious home performance from the entire team, especially first half. Almost totally devoid of confidence and composure resulting in poor first touch, inaccurate passing and panicky defending. Only consolation was we gained another point, despite the performance being well below that against Bradford and even Grimsby.
Re: Exiles Grandstand: Newport v Wimbledon
28What they used to call “ a blessed release “. Very frustrating how poor we are at nearly everything, Day never thinks of coming for crosses, our passing and crossing is abysmal and as for a goal threat…well we don’t have one! I think we should start Kavanagh not McNeill but whether he’ll make a big difference I’m unsure. What I do know is that giving the ball away and floating harmless balls across the box just doesn’t work. The young lad Rai looked useful, he and Kavanagh would be livelier than Bogle and McNeill but maybe a bit too lightweight.Stan A. 29Thought we looked leggy from the off. GC is a little guilty of not rotating the squad in my view. Not sure why he waited until 65 mins to change things. Clearly we weren’t at the races first half so why not make subs at HT. Much better with the subs which was encouraging. Decent 4,000+ crowd tonight for a dead rubber on a Tuesday night.

30Can't argue with that of course. A goal scorer improves every team.Goals win Matches wrote: March 14th, 2023, 8:46 pm As always inability to score in the first half.

Think what is equally relevent though, looking at the home and away tables for League 2 is we are the 11th best team away from home and the 20th at home. This clearly points to a psychological deficit for home games. It suggests a need for a decent sports psychologist.
