Apparently,it wasn’t a football decision but an off the field thing.I have no idea what it was or if it was a serious breach of conduct.I remember 25 years ago when Flynny was effectively sacked by the academy manager for playing for local sides in between playing for the academy.Tim Harris then promoted Flynny to the first team squad because he was too good a player to lose so his misconduct was overlooked.Livermore looked to have the talent to come through but was relegated back to the academy where he continued to look outstanding.If there was an attitude problem then,would he still have performed so well for the academy,in fact,his last ever game was playing in a back three where he was amazing,he was winning headers against a 6ft guy.He must have already knew that he wasn’t getting a contract yet he still did the biz so,it couldn’t have been for lack of effort or ability.He deserved a second chance.

Where is he playing now? Not as if anyone we have released has gone on to bigger and better things.

He is. A few sub appearances but not in the match day squad for their last 3 games so not sure if out of favour, injured or what
