I completely understand that if on this board you raise any criticism you will be bombarded with vitriol. And some people want to comment but don't want to risk being abused if they say something controversial.

Tough game to call. County off the back of 2 good results. Crewe unbeaten - scoring goals but conceding them too. Think I’d take a draw.

I'm looking forward to watching the game. My initial thoughts on the season were that we would be hyper defensive this year. It appears from what I have read that the plan seems to be a high intensity high pressing game. Certainly at home.

I'd take the draw, whatever the result I suspect it won't come as a surprise. I can see 4-0 either way or a 4-4 draw.

Just hope we don't adopt a different strategy in home/away matches. I never quite understand this approach. It's the same eleven v eleven contest when the first whistle blows. Start on the front foot and if necessary play more cautiously later in the game. Having said that, Crewe surely won't be as awful as Doncaster were.

Which I've kept clean if you read it

My sole intention is to encourage people to keep the Exiles Grandstand going. Judging by previous matches this season either people are getting apathetic about the Grandstand or they don't know which board it should be on. Far better to have it on both boards than not at all.

I would settle for 4 points over the next 2 (away) games, 3 maybe, 2 no.
Crewe appear to be playing decently and I hope that we can carry on with our form and confidence.

I'm confident about tomorrow night. In both Crewe games they've gone 2-0 down in the first half then had a mountain to climb. First game of the season they were lucky that Mansfield had a player sent off. If we can press them like we did Donny then I think we'll be too hard to live with. Plus don't forget we have the Welsh Harry Kane up front.

I have a distant historic claim to coining the term “Exiles Grandstand “ back in Conference South days, the forum was a much more jovial and amicable place back then.
Then it was commentary only and one joined in with others commenting through the match. Now it is available to watch on I-follow, inevitably the goal flash comes up on the Grandstand before I’ve seen it on the screen so I don’t look at it during the game.
After a wonderful 4-0 result on Saturday I can only see us repeating it again tomorrow night! My pound says we can do it!

You can almost see one of his long throws leading to a goal.
When he did it for us the throws rarely caused the opposition problems

I have no hard feelings towards Mickey, football loyalty is a myth, it’s a job and footballers seek the best option for them and their family. However I do hope to see respect from players who have been with the club many years coming up against us with a new club. Maybe not over the top celebrations when scoring/winning, or a wave and a gesture of applause to the away fans at the game, for they are the ones showing true loyalty to our club.

**** Mickey. Zero loyalty, eeked out every penny from the club that he could when he’d clearly made his mind up to leave. No problem in theory with a player looking after #1 but he doesn’t deserve rose tinted fond memories as a result. He sold his goodwill as far as I’m concerned.
