FORMER Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins is a frontrunner to become the new majority shareholder at Newport County AFC.

Would have been nice if the club announced it first .

He has a lot of contacts in the football world. He also has a lot of respect. He will know who to bring in to help him run the club in a more professional way. It's still possible also that the two groups will join forces.

Here's another thing. Huw Jenkins may be the best candidate. But that's not the point. You are not being given the time to examine all the facts. You are being bounced into a decision.

It is contempt towards the trust members by the board of directors.

I asked the question recently on a Swans Reddit if he was any good and it was a resounding yes. Very highly thought of for the most part.
