I was basing my comment on what posters are saying on the Gas forum. Several are claiming that excepting for injured players this is their first team. I think that the answer maybe that they are looking at the bench as well as the starting lineup.

If you go by the squad numbers it does look like a strong team with many numbers under 12 listed.

Shame about Thomas. He's just not quite ready for this level yet IMO.

A better, pacier team did a professional job on us and we wasted all our chances to score...it is what it is.

Players looked tired at times. Not physically, but mentally. Touches weren't as sharp, passing was a little off, and movement seemed slower. Hopefully, the returning players will give some a bit of a breather.

I would like to see the Will and Seb partnership revived, but that would require Bogle spending some time on the bench.
